Overview
The MCP connector is designed for real search-focused workflows. Use it when an agent needs to explain why a page is losing, add missing entities with minimal edits, tighten vague sub-headlines, build an internal linking plan, or uncover missing who, what, where, and how angles. Skip the API-key paste — sign in with Google or email, connect Claude Desktop, and start using it. SEO optimization outputs (rewrites, briefs, AI insights) are English-only. Scan inputs accept all 27 supported regions — see GET /v1/regions for the list; \region\ selects the Google SERP country and \locale\ controls result language. This is documented guidance, not a hard runtime rejection.

Ask for a full on-page analysis of any URL plus keyword via `scan_page`, then follow the returned `agent_guidance` for prioritized fixes.
- Optimize missing entities
Use `optimize_on_page_entities` to identify high-importance entity gaps and get minimal sentence-level edits that preserve original wording.
- Build an internal linking plan
Leverage `internal_linking_plan` to turn `internal_linking` recommendations into concrete source pages and natural anchor placements.
- Improve sub-headlines
Run `optimize_subheadlines` to tighten vague H2/H3s with high-priority entity additions without restructuring the page.
- Compare against competitors
Use `scan_page_deep` with `serp_speed_comparison` to benchmark page speed (LCP, CLS, TBT) against top 3 organic rivals and surface ranking-impacting deltas.
- Generate a grounded content brief
Ask for `content_brief` to turn deep-scan entities, topic signals, and competitor gaps into a data-driven outline.
